Volunteering as tree stewards in Washington Square
This Thanksgiving, we volunteered to be ‘tree stewards‘ in Washington Square!
The Buccella lab and members of the NYU Chemistry community spent an afternoon weeding, watering, and planting new vegetation for the Spring.
A big thank you to Elsy El Khoury for coordinating with the NYC Parks stewardship program. A great way to nurture physical and mental health while contributing to a greener, healthier neighborhood!

Georgina Dabdoub (CAS 2021) receives her B.S. degree in Chemistry with honors from NYU!
Georgina is the recipient of the NYU Chemistry Alumni Award presented for an outstanding record in chemistry, and of the Founders Day Award from the University. She will soon start work at AbbVie and then off to graduate school.
