Georgina Dabdoub (CAS 2021) receives her B.S. degree in Chemistry with honors from NYU!
Georgina is the recipient of the NYU Chemistry Alumni Award presented for an outstanding record in chemistry, and of the Founders Day Award from the University. She will soon start work at AbbVie and then off to graduate school.

The New York Local Section of the American Chemical Society celebrated the International Year of the Periodic Table (IYPT 2019) with a giant 3D Periodic Table display at the New York Hall of Science. The display was unveiled on October 18, 2019, to kickoff events of the National Chemistry Week and commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Mendeleev’s Periodic Table.
The Buccella group contributed an entry to the educational display, highlighting one of our favorite elements: Zinc!
